Joe Lowry came through in the clutch Wednesday night, driving in four runs as the Redbirds (40+) stormed back to defeat She Gone, 9-6. Lowry’s three-run double in the fifth put the Redbirds ahead for good, capping off a five-run inning that sealed the win.

She Gone jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs across the second and third innings. But the Redbirds responded in the fourth with a rally of their own, as Lowry, Jerry Anderson, Jerry Gamez, and Travis Hitzeman each drove in a run to snatch the lead.

Lowry wasn’t done yet—his bases-clearing double in the fifth, followed by an RBI double from Anderson, broke the game wide open.

Brent Smerczynski earned the win in relief, tossing two hitless innings, while Gamez shut the door in the final two frames to notch the save.

The Redbirds collected nine hits, with Lowry and Juan Mollinedo each notching multi-hit performances. Meanwhile, She Gone’s James Bolton and Luis Ambriz kept it close, each tallying two hits and an RBI.

With this comeback victory, the Redbirds keep rolling—can they carry the momentum into their next game? Stay tuned!
