Joe Lowry’s walk added another run in the second inning, and the fourth inning saw an offensive explosion with five runs on five hits. Key contributions came from Jerry Anderson, Marc Boggio, Brant Farris, and Kevin Fought, each driving in runs.
Boggio earned the win, pitching four solid innings and giving up just two runs. The Redbirds’ offense was relentless, amassing 14 hits.
